You've come to the right place!
Sex is often approached as a taboo subject.
Many people have many different relationships with their sexuality, pleasure and desires.
I, myself, have experienced many different dynamics in my own relationship to my sexuality, ranging from shut down & judgement to adventurous exploration and confident self-expression.
We aren't taught much about sex growing up, and thus, most of us were more or less left on our own to figure things out.
I believe that sex gets to be a beautiful expression. A place to experience ever expanding desire and expression. That it gets to be a place of great connection & intimacy. I believe that the desires of our body are beautiful, and when connected to and expressed, result in the most delicious experiences.
What I know for sure is that we get to decide what our relationship to our sexuality means for each of us and that we get to create and re-create it into something that feels wonderful, expansive, joyful, loving and fun!
When we learn about the desires of our body and are able to openly communicate and express these desires, doorways to so much pleasure, connection and intimacy opens up.
I believe in normalizing sex, normalizing the conversation about sex, and normalizing our desires so that we experience all the depth that is available though this expression of self and with another.
For many, many years myself, I didn't know how to express and communicate my sexual needs and desires. In fact, I didn't even KNOW what my sexual needs and desires were. This caused a lot of frustration and challenges within my relationships and at the same time caused an immense desire within me TO know myself sexually and to learn how to communicate my desires openly as well as to openly learn the desires of partners.
This strong desire, sent me on a journey of exploration and learning, coming to know my desires and creating new, empowering beliefs about what it means to be a sexually embodied woman. Letting go of judgements and thus opening up to the most expansive sexual experiences, solo and partnered.
The thoughts we think and the beliefs we hold greatly effect how we relate to ourselves sexually and how we interact with our partner, our willingness to speak up about our desires and to hear the desires of our partner.
I believe that, as women, we have a responsibility to know ourselves sexually. To be intimate with our bodies and to openly express and communicate our desires. That the sex we desire starts within us.
I created Self Approved Sex as the education manual to sex that I'd wished I'd received, a compilation of years and YEARS of learning and exploring, teaching you how identify what your specific sexual needs and desires are, how to communicate them and how to form new and empowering beliefs around sex and what it means to be a sexually embodied and sexually self-expressed woman.
Self Approved Sex is the complete guide to understanding your unique sexual desires, giving you a language to communicate your desires and providing you the tools TO communicate and to shift into a place of confidence in your sexual expression.
